What is a Spiritual Companion?

Official Bio
Ricky began the long journey to finding herself after graduating high school and taking a variety of college courses. Through the years Ricky worked as a receptionist, secretary, administrative assistant, director of women's ministries, and in 2001 a coffeehouse owner. She formed and operated a non-profit 501c3 spiritual retreat center in 2009 and through the process found herself right where she was meant to be today: A Spiritual Companion. Ricky learned that for her, the most beneficial form of education, was in fact, “Experiential Education”. It awakened her to the Deeper Truth of who she already was and in turn, there for those on the Spiritual Journey themselves.
In the past two decades Ricky has completed her certifications as a Centering Prayer Presenter; Veriditas Labyrinth facilitator and Spiritual Director, through the Franciscan program in Milwaukie, Oregon. Most recently she completed a two year spiritual coaching program with 3PGC. She has participated in numerous spiritual retreats with authors and spiritual teachers: Mark Nepo, Father Richard Rohr (Center for Action and Contemplation), Mirabai Starr, and Elizabeth Gilbert, to name a few.
Besides offering spiritual companion groups, both in-person and online, she also facilitates spiritual book clubs.

The Journey towards a Healthy Mind
Happens from the
Inside/Out Understanding.

The opposite of love is not rage. The opposite of love is indifference. Love engages all our emotions: Joy is the gift of love. Grief is the price of love. Anger is the force that protects that which is loved. We cannot access the depth of loving ourselves or others without our rage.
Your True Self is who you are, and always have been in God . . . The great surprise and irony is that 'you,' or who you think you are, have nothing to do with its original creation or its demise.
